Situated at the foothills of Magaliesberg, North West, near Hartbeespoort we offer trails for 4×4 vehicles, quads, enduro offroads, mountain biking and hiking (unguided). We operate within an un-spoilt nature area. Come test your 4×4 skills in these beautiful mountains and enjoy the day with jaw-dropping views and waterpools in the rivine. Self-help braai facility down at our bush camp and/or braai on top of the mountain.
About the Trail:
It is a rustic natural rocky trail with technical sections through the foothills of Magaliesberg with beautiful scenery overlooking Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounding farm lands. There are currently 2 trails. The shorter trail is technical and an estimate of 3 hours (Trail 1), and the longer trail is even more technical, advanced/extreme, and an estimate of 5 hours (Trail 2).
Bush camp Accommodation
We have a nice rustic bush camp, small, private and unique, in the beautiful nature with wildlife also roaming around. Off the grid with NO power at bush camp. There are camping sites everywhere, Wendy log cabin accommodation and ablution sections with 2x small splash pools.
So it just depends on what your needs are. Self Camp is R80 pp per night and cottages are R100 pp per night. The cottages and the bush camp can accommodate 25x people. Everything is self-catering so you will bring your own camping gear, cutlery, bedding, flashlights, lights etc.
There are ablution sections with nice “open season” flush toilets, showers, donkey stoves for hot water, braai areas with grills, wooden benches and water points (taps) with fresh running water. There is also a main braai area a type of bush kitchenette that has sinks for washing dishes.

- 1x 3-Sleeper – (A double bed with a single bunker bed on top)
- 4x 4-Sleeper – (A double bed with two single bunker beds)
- 1x 6-Sleeper – (Two double beds with two single bunker beds)
Rates Per Day:
- Trail 1 (Short) – R200 (per vehicle)
- Trail 2 (Long) – R300 (per vehicle)
- Quads/Offroads – R150 (per person)
- Mountain Biking – R100 (per bike)
- Hiking – R50 (per person)
- Day Visitors – R50 (per person not driving the trail, but making use of Bush Camp facilities)Recovery Rate/Assistance Fee – R350 per call out!
Please make use of your own vehicles as we do not rent any out! Please note that your quad must be either Low Range or 4×4.
Self-Catering Accommodation – Bush Camp:
Back to basics! In the tranquillity of the Magaliesberg we have a beautiful & natural private camping area at the creek. Self-catering accommodation of Bush Wendy Houses available and Bush wagons, Motorhomes, Caravans & Tents all welcome. Braai & pit fire areas, bush camp kitchen, ablution facilities are all natural/old school “veldtoilet and donkey showers”.
No electricity! Beautiful game to view at the bush camp. Small splash pool to swim for those hot days! We are pet friendly but please arrange upfront if you want to bring your four legged companion.
